Guest Room Headboard

It seems that I am a little disorganized. I thought I had shared with you what the guest room headboard and bed look like. Upon a closer look, I realized that I hadn't. I am so sorry. Remember the Collette headboard?  Well, here is her cool brother.

After a disappointing and difficult time finding fabric and getting fabric, (with the postal strike, that is), this fabric ended up being it. 

I am not so thrilled about it, but what can you do.  The fabric that I originally ordered was going to take too long and my second option got lost in the mail. Yikes. Come to think of it, I still have not received it. Hmmm. 

Here is a close up of what the headboard looks like. I also added my favorite headboard accessories, tacks.

I will be writing a post very soon with the steps to make the headboard. Hope you like it and aren't we all so much happier that Canada Post is back to work? Yay!
