DYE & DIY British Flag Pillow

There has been so much hype about the upcoming nuptials of William and Kate. On the eve of their nuptials, I decided to share a diy I made. On a recent trip to my favorite dressmaker store, I thought of a diy project to make my own British flag pillow. Not as fancy, but easy, simple and cheap. Here is how that turned out.
                                             What you will need:
I used a white linen pillow case from Ikea, blue and red fabric dye, vanishing marker, scissors, ruler, print out.

Printed the British flag and enlarged it. Then I cut it out.
Using the vanishing marker, I drew the pattern onto the pillow.
Used a brush and started painting the flag.
Here it is. My simple DIY British flag pillow.

I think it looks really pretty and it adds so much character and colour to our white couch. Do you like it? For those of you watching the wedding have fun, and for the rest of you, have a great day and great weekend ahead!
