Kitchen Paint Colour Reveal

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how my yellow kitchen walls had to go and that I was giving our kitchen a makeover. Last week, I shared some colour options for our kitchen walls. And it seems that Jetstream, by Para Paint and one of Sarah Richardson's colours was a favorite among a couple of my readers too. The only problem is that I had trouble finding it. :-(  I was a little disappointed, but its ok. Our bedroom walls are grey and we like the way it looks, so we wanted something similar. I tend towards beige and my husband towards grey.
I remembered seeing a gorgeous paint colour on younghouselove's website. It is called White Sand by Glidden. They used it in their dining room and it looked beautiful.
We figured it is the perfect combination between grey and beige, so we went for it.  I do have to warn you that I added a little white paint to it. Our kitchen is quite dark, so I had to lighten it up a bit.
I really love the colour and it is a great change from what it was. Had my kitchen been brighter, I would not have lightened the paint colour. It makes the kitchen feel more like a dining room and not a tiny kitchen.

I hope you like it. I am off to finish a couple of painting projects that will be going in here soon. Stay tuned and have a good one!
